TalkBox II has the following features:
- An arbitrarily-sized, user-configurable symbol set. Preconfigured symbol sets for the Latin and Greek alphabets.
- Synthesized speech output.
- The access mode is indirect selection (using the FlexSelex indirect selection software).
- The cost is approximately $CAD 50, plus the cost of the speaker and the electronic visual display device (e.g., LCD screen).
- Requisite skill level: to be determined.
System currently under development – we will publish on a open source repository when ready.
